What is the security deposit?

The security deposit for Leone is 2.500 €. It is refundable: you leave it at the base at check-in — usually as a credit-card pre-authorisation or in cash — and it is returned at check-out if the boat comes back undamaged.

What licences do I need to rent Leone?

Leone is a crewed charter — she comes with a professional crew, so you do not need any licence to book her.

What additional costs should I expect?

The crew comes with this boat, but the charter company charges for the crew on top of the charter price — that charge and the other obligatory extras are listed on this page. Food, drinks, fuel and port fees come on top too — on crewed yachts usually through an APA, an advance of 30–40 % of the charter price that the captain spends against receipts and settles with you at the end. The refundable security deposit is separate.

What does “per week + food” mean on the crew price?

A crew price such as “1.960 € per week + food” pays for that person’s work for the week; their meals are the guests’ to provide on top. It does not mean food for everyone on board is included. In practice it works one of three ways. The crew member eats on board with you: buy groceries for one extra adult and include them in breakfast, lunch and dinner — six guests plus a skipper means provisioning for seven. The crew member joins you at a restaurant: you cover their meal. The crew member eats separately: agree a meal allowance with the charter company or the skipper beforehand, covering the meals you do not provide. There is no fixed food surcharge unless one has been agreed — with shared meals on board, the cost is simply the extra groceries, and if you go ashore for dinner while the skipper stays on board, leave a suitable meal or arrange an allowance for it. The charter company’s own terms decide what applies; any allowance it states is listed separately in the price breakdown.

When do I check in and check out?

Check-in for Leone is from 14:00 on the day your charter starts, and check-out is by 08:00 on the day it ends. The charter company’s rule for this base: “Return on the evening before by 6 pm is obligatory!”
