The crew is the point

A luxury yacht is chartered with its crew: a captain, a chef and stewards who run the boat and the days. The weekly price covers the yacht and the crew; food, fuel, berths and the crew's gratuity are usually settled separately.

  • Chartered whole, never by the cabin; the itinerary is yours to set with the captain.
  • Running costs — fuel, food, berths — are usually paid as an advance allowance on top of the weekly price.
  • The charter company's own crew is in the price; a skipper of ours is never needed.
