About Emsel
Emsel is a house boat built in 2024 by Woma: a Woma D13. At 13.7 m (45 ft) she sleeps 6 in 2 cabins, with 1 WC. Power comes from 50 HP. She sails from Röblinsee Marina, Germany and is run by Bootado, an independent charter company. A bareboat: skipper her yourself with a skipper licence and a VHF certificate, or add our Top Skipper by the week in the extras. Charters start on Saturday, with check-in from 16:00 and check-out by 09:00. A refundable security deposit of 1.200 € is left at the base at check-in and returned after check-out.

- Returns are also Monday-Saturday. The marina is closed on Sundays
- Charter licence
- All boats can be driven without a licence. In this case
- an approx. 3-hour charter licence in theory and practice is obligatory on site. The charter licence is limited to the duration of the travel period. The charter licence is not required if you have a current inland navigation licence. Guests with little boating experience but a valid inland navigation licence are welcome to book an additional skipper training course (45 minutes € 50)
- Petrol consumption
- Petrol is charged according to consumption at the end of the trip in the marina: € 3 per litre and payable on site
- Family discount: 3% for children under 15 years of age
- Please note that the minimum stay is 3 nights and the surcharge for stays of 3-6 nights is 15%
- The guaranteed boat handover takes place at 4 pm. However
- you are welcome to arrive as early as 2 pm (recommended for charter licence guests) in order to check in and plan your trip in the marina

How can I cancel my reservation?

What is the security deposit?
The security deposit for Emsel is 1.200 €. It is refundable: you leave it at the base at check-in — usually as a credit-card pre-authorisation or in cash — and it is returned at check-out if the boat comes back undamaged.
What licences do I need to rent Emsel?
For a bareboat charter you need a skipper licence recognised in Croatia and a VHF radio certificate. The charter company checks both at check-in — there is no licence check when you book online. No licence? Add our skipper in the extras below: priced by the week, plus their food on board.
What additional costs should I expect?
Obligatory extras are listed on this page and are paid before arrival or at the base, as marked. On top of the charter price, budget for mooring fees outside your home marina, fuel and provisioning. The refundable security deposit is separate and is returned after check-out.
When do I check in and check out?
